Joe and Jeretta Eash love Jesus, this community and this church. Early in their career they served in Japan as missionaries. Since 1995 they have worked in both pastoral ministry and business. Pastor Joe served Clearwater Evangelical Free as interim minister in 2004 and 2005. He again served as interim from April of 2012 and accepted the call to be our pastor in September of 2012.
Pastor Joe focuses on teaching what is relevant and true to what the Bible says. His goal is that others can know the love of God and be encouraged in their daily lives.
We are a group of your friends and neighbors from within the community of Clearwater. We are not much different from anybody else, but we have found that life is better when we worship God and have a relationship with His Son Jesus Christ.
We welcome everyone from the doubter and skeptic to the lifelong follower of Jesus Christ. God’s love extends to all people of all walks of life, and we want to offer the same love and acceptance to others as He has to us.
Sunday mornings we have Sunday School for all ages at 9:15 a.m. There are fun and engaging classes for children. And, there is also coffee for us adults who get together to socialize, learn and talk over the topic of the day.
The main event is Sunday morning worship at 10:30 a.m. We love to sing and enjoy a varied mix of music. The pastor’s talk is based on the Bible and is relevant to the world we live in. All are welcome; dress is casual so come as you are.
We have ladies who get together for an evening out every now and then. They also study the Bible and discuss life issues during these times. There are also men’s studies, topical classes and other activities on a seasonal basis.
On Sunday evenings at 6 p.m., the youth group gathers. A lesson is given, snacks are shared and games are played. It's a relaxed atmosphere to learn about Christ and grow in relationships with each other. All middle school and high school age kids are welcome.
We emphasize God’s love for the world as shown by Him giving His own Son to save us. We believe He did this because He wants to have a relationship with us. We believe that you and I can really know Him.
We also believe that He wants us to tell the whole world. So, we stay in touch with people working to spread that message in some far off places like Africa, Asia and Europe, which adds an interesting and diverse perspective.
If you would like encouragement and just a warm friendly place, you will definitely want to check us out.
